1. Introduction

At Git Push Studio, we respect your privacy. Git Push Studio is a local-first application that works without user accounts or login. You connect repositories by providing Git remote URLs directly — no accounts, no OAuth, and no data stored on our servers.

2. Local Storage

All repository data, configuration, and activity logs are stored locally on your machine in the application's data directory. Git Push Studio does not transmit, sync, or store any of your data on remote servers. Git operations use the remote URLs you provide directly.

3. Telemetry and Analytics

We collect minimal, anonymous telemetry to help us diagnose performance bugs and prioritize features. This telemetry does not include code diffs, repository names, commit messages, username profiles, or any personally identifiable information. You can opt-out of all telemetry in the application settings.

4. Git Providers

When you provide a Git remote URL, your local Git client communicates directly with the provider (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) using standard Git protocols. Their respective privacy policies govern any data they collect during these operations.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
